University of Missouri Online MSW Programs
The University of Missouri’s School of Social Work offers a part-time, entirely online MSW program with two different concentration options: Advanced Clinical Practice and Policy, Planning and Administration in Human Services.
Both concentrations offer traditional and advanced standing tracks. The Regular Standing program involves the completion of 60 course credits and a total of 1,080 field practicum hours (divided across one foundational 400-hour internship and one advanced 680-hour internship) over the course of three years, or nine semesters. The Advanced Standing track requires the completion of 39 course credits and one 680-hour advanced field internship over the course of two years, or six semesters. Field placements are determined through a collaboration between the Director of Field Education, the students, and their faculty advisors.
